Description
Refrigerant Discharge Mufflers:
- Designed to eliminate pulsation in compressor discharge line running to remote condensers.
- Have internal baffles designed for minimum pressure drop. These baffles change the velocity of the discharge gases passing through the muffler. Results in a dampening effect on high frequency sound waves in the gases on high speed compressors. This also helps smooth out the pulsating waves in low speed compressors.
- Sized to the discharge line of the compressor.
Note:
1. Unit construction: steel shell, end caps&steel baffles.
2. O.D.S. Connections are steel on type 2200 and 2300, and wrought copper on types 2400 .
3. All sweat connections are for actual O.D. Tubing.
4. Maximum working pressure 450 P.S.I.G. types 2400 type 2200 and 2300 500 P.S.I.G.
